There was an urgent plea echoed through our community. It was a distressed homeowner, whose garage had unwittingly become
a makeshift maternity ward for a stray mother cat and her three newborn kittens. The garage, however, was far from
a safe haven. The homeowner gently pried them from the cold, dark cavern and yet, to no avail. The mother cat, driven
by instinct and desperation, repeatedly relocated her vulnerable offspring into the less-than-ideal safety of a car's
undercarriage. In addition to this, another threat loomed. The presence of the homeowner's territorial dog. Answering
the call, our team stepped into action. We succeeded in moving them into a nurturing foster home. However, our work
doesn't stop here. These new lives need medical checkups, potential treatments, and eventual pairing with loving families
that would adopt them, a series of tasks that demands resources we're strained on.
